The Web of Love – Information Technology Report

One of the reasons we can run such a broad operation with an office staff of two, is because of our web based applications. You can order a book, find a therapist or a workshop, and never need to call. And that means for those who do call, we have the time to really help them with what they need.

This is a great time for us to highlight the incredible work donated to Imago by one of our Board members, April Lorenzen, and her company, Full Scale Commerce. April was instrumental in guiding Imago while these applications were being built, providing hosting service free-of-charge until just last month, when it was time for us to come-of-age and purchase our own hosting services. Thank you April and Full Scale Commerce, Inc.

Now as the business develops we have the opportunity to overhaul the original applications to enhance their robustness and ease of use, and make sure they are as attractive as possible to the increasing number of people who use the site for referrals. We’ve had several workshop presenters report anecdotally that more people are signing up due to the website.

We have a new web address, too – “GettingTheLoveYouWant.com” – much easier to give out and pass around as we hope that Imago becomes a household word.

Matthew Perkins who used to work in the Florida office, continues to provide web support from his new home in Tennessee. We’re delighted that Matthew is still on the team, thank you Matthew!
