We are IRI! That was the powerful understanding that we moved to during the Second Annual International Summit when representatives from our global regions gathered for three very special days of connecting and dialoguing before the Toronto Conference. After identifying challenges facing the different regions, we saw IRI, not as an Us-Them, but as a WE. The eye-opening discussions at the Summit brought a new sense of connection, WE-ness, and willingness to contribute and work together to bring Imago to our world.

And now we would like you to know about us, the Imago Global Membership Committee, and our new sense of WE-ness. What had been two committees is now one, a WE! From its beginning, IRI had two separate committees that addressed membership needs:  Membership Services and Imago Global Communities.  In the past year Membership Services has concentrated mainly on Membership renewal and registration and our Global group has become the place where advocacy and connection has occurred on a regular basis during our phone bridges and Summit meetings.  At its Fall Retreat, the IRI Board accepted a proposal to merge the two committees. We are now the Imago Global Membership Committee with the purpose of supporting you professionally, building connections with and for you, our members, individually or regionally, and helping you to connect with IRI. "Membership" includes all of you who belong to the Imago communities we call regions and all of you who are not part of any specific Imago region.

We want you to know that we are an important Board level committee whose purpose is to guide policy about how to support and connect with our members. As committee members, we are elected or chosen to represent our regions and we also have several at-large members who have worked with the Global committee from its birth.
